Mr Hanny Anwar

Biography

Prior to joining the UK’s leading orthopaedic centre, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Hanny Anwar received highly specialist training at spinal units across the UK including St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals, the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Mr Anwar understands that every patient is different and will need support to understand often complex medical procedures and treatments. He provides patient-centred care and works alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure his patients receive holistic care.

Mr Anwar has developed a practice that supports his patients using minimally invasive techniques and navigation to increase the safety and improve the recovery from complex spinal surgery.

Mr Anwar is widely published and presents his work both nationally and internationally. He aims to improve the level of treatment for spinal patients by recording his patients’ outcomes, continuing his research interests and sharing his knowledge and expertise with others.
