Mr Shelain Patel

Biography

Alongside providing care for patients, Mr Patel invests time in educating and teaching others as invited faculty for orthopaedic courses and registrar training programmes.

Throughout his career, Mr Patel has been actively involved with research and is widely published in peer reviewed publications. He is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Science which is based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

His research with colleagues in the Foot and Ankle Unit includes novel methods of treating cartilage injuries, deformity correction, treatment of neuromuscular disorders, and methods for assessing foot and ankle conditions.

Continued collaboration with other renowned centres worldwide allows RNOH to provide continued excellence in orthopaedics.
