Mr. Falworth brings 18 years of consultant experience to his private practice, which is based on the multidisciplinary approach to the surgical and non-surgical treatments of conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. Patients’ needs are always considered before surgical solutions are discussed and all treatments are evidence based and reflect the exacting standards that Mr Falworth adheres to.

Biography

Mr. Falworth was trained in London however he undertook just under two years of further specialist Fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital as well as in Austria, Australia and the USA. He was appointed as a consultant in 2006 and provides a comprehensive service covering all aspects of open and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery. He is widely published in the orthopaedic research literature and has delivered over 110 invited lectures both in the UK and abroad.

Mr. Falworth is the elected President Elect of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and previously held the position of elected Treasurer. He is also the elected Chairman of the BESS Instructional Course Committee and in 2018 he was awarded the prestigious BESS Copeland Fellowship, which is considered the highest accolade in British Elbow and Shoulder Surgery.
