Dr Sajid Butt

Consultant Radiologist

Dr. Sajid Butt is a Consultant Radiologist.  He has been an integral part of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) since his appointment in 2005. His specialist interest lies in sports injury imaging, bone and soft tissue tumors, and spinal imaging. Dr. Butt is proficient in performing CT-guided RF tumor ablations and image-guided therapeutic injections for spinal and orthopedic disorders.

Biography

Dr. Butt obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1989 and completed radiology training at Pakistan’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1995. He finalised his radiology residency at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital in 2003. Further honing his skills, he completed a one-year fellowship in musculoskeletal and spinal disorders at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, in 2004.

Beyond clinical duties, Dr. Butt actively participates in managing bone and soft tissue sarcomas, contributing to RNOH multidisciplinary team meetings. He is also involved in teaching junior doctors, sharing his wealth of knowledge and expertise.
