Dr Rikin Hargunani
Consultant Radiologist
Dr. Rikin Hargunani is a Consultant Radiologist.
After completing clinical radiology training at the Royal Free Hospital, London, he pursued a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Vancouver General Hospital, Canada, working under the guidance of Professors Peter Munk and Hugue Ouellette. During this fellowship, he developed expertise in interventional musculoskeletal and spinal radiology, employing techniques such as thermal ablation and vertebroplasty for the treatment and palliation of bone tumors.

Dr Hargunani has a broad range of specialist clinical interests, including imaging of bone and soft tissue tumors, bone and joint infections, musculoskeletal interventional radiology, arthritis, and sports injury imaging.
His commitment to advancing knowledge is evident through ongoing research in arthritis and cartilage imaging, imaging of orthopedic implants, and bone and soft tissue tumor imaging. Additionally, Dr Hargunani actively contributes to the training and supervision of Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellows and Radiology Registrars.
