Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist
Dr. Michèle Calleja is a Consultant Radiologist. She completed her radiology training at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital and further honed her expertise through a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
As an esteemed member of the British and European Societies of Skeletal Radiology, Dr. Calleja is actively engaged in teaching and lecturing, contributing to the professional development of her peers and the next generation of practitioners.

Biography
Dr. Calleja’s special interests span a range of musculoskeletal topics, including the imaging of the adolescent and young adult hip, femoro-acetabular impingement, bone and soft tissue tumour imaging, intricate foot and ankle imaging, interventional musculoskeletal radiology, and the imaging of sports-related injuries.
Dr. Calleja’s research is focused on the imaging of the failing hip and the development of imaging techniques around prostheses. This reflects her commitment to advancing the understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and improving diagnostic and interventional approaches.
