Emma’s story

Scoliosis surgery using the Mazor X Stealth surgical robot

Meet Emma, aged 14. She was cared for by RNOH Private Care to treat scoliosis using pioneering technology using Robotic Assisted Spinal Surgery (RASS).

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) stands as a beacon of excellence in treating conditions like scoliosis and kyphosis. Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine, and at the age of 12 we had the privilege of successfully treating HRH Princess Eugenie for this condition.
