Biography

Mr Karan Malhotra

Mr Karan Malhotra is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Specialist. He graduated from the University of Manchester, with his orthopaedic training in Yorkshire and London. He has completed an international fellowship in Australia and a visiting fellowship Singapore. Mr Malhotra specialises exclusively in foot and ankle problems.

Mr Karan Malhotra is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the very best care, involving them in their care and decision making. He ensures patients are given a balanced and honest opinion of all surgical and non-surgical options available to them and takes time to make sure that they can understand these options.

Mr Malhotra is passionate about research and is an Honorary Associate Professor with University College London. He is actively involved in cutting edge research into novel methods of treating arthritis, deformity correction, treatment of neuromuscular disorders, and into methods for assessing foot and ankle conditions. He is widely published and his work has won numerous national and international prizes.

Mr Malhotra is fully committed to quality improvement, improving patient outcomes, and educational activities. He has led on two national projects looking at outcomes of foot and ankle patients across the UK and is regularly teaches on courses and at local and national levels. He is actively involved with the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society where he is a Committee Chair and a Council Member.
