Mr Matthew Welck

Biography

Mr Welck provides a complete range of care for all adult foot and ankle problems.

Mr Welck’s focus is making sure patients receive optimum care. He works closely with colleagues to bring expertise from radiologists, physiotherapists, specialist nurses, orthotics and anesthetists to provide expert foot and ankle care to his patients.

With a keen interest in research, Mr Welck has received prizes and his work has been published and presented nationally and internationally. He has been awarded an honorary associate Clinical professor role at UCL. In 2020, Mr Welck was awarded the ‘Best Published Paper’ award by the European Society for Foot and Ankle Surgery.

He teaches on the RNOH fellowship programme and convenes multiple foot and ankle courses.  He is on the British Foot and Ankle Society Education Committee.
