Manish Desai is a Consultant in Spinal Injury and Trauma Rehabilitation. Having graduated from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India he now specialises in the intricate field of complex spinal cord injuries and is Consultant at London Spinal Injury Centre and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
His extensive career has seen him train and work nationally and internationally, including in pivotal roles at Newcastle upon Tyne and University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Biography
Mr. Desai is actively involved in research and in the teaching of Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic registrars, nurses, therapists, medical and bio-medical engineering students.
In his practice Mr Desai uses his extensive experience and leadership skills to bring together healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for his patients. He takes the time to explain his recommendations, ensuring patients fully understand and are involved in their care.
Mr Desai is a member of Speciality Advisory Committee and appointed by British Society of Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine, and Royal College of Physicians.
