Mr Jan Lehovsky is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon and a Member of the British Scoliosis Society. He graduated from Charles University Medical School, Prague in 1985 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) in 1995.

Biography

Mr Lehovsky undertook specialist training in spinal surgery in both the Czech Republic and the UK. He completed a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and was appointed as a Consultant in Spinal Surgery in 1994.

Mr Lehovsky has an extensive paediatric and adult practice. He operates on children with spinal deformity both scoliosis and kyphosis. He regularly performs microdiscectomy for disc prolapse and decompression for stenosis and undertakes surgery for spinal tumour and spinal trauma. Mr Lehovsky has a particular interest in scoliosis due to muscle disease. He provides a spinal deformity surgical service for a number of European countries.
