Alex Gibson is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon. He assesses, treats and monitor patients of all ages: adults and children and young people. His practice includes non-operative treatments (injections, bracing, physiotherapy) as well as surgery.

Biography
Mr Gibson’s spinal surgical practice is dedicated to spinal deformity and other major spinal reconstructions that are required in the treatment of spinal fractures, cancers and degenerative disease.
Mr Gibson makes sure his patient and their family understand his recommendations and are fully involved in their care. He works meticulously and involves other healthcare professions to make sure patients are supported on their journey to recovery.
Prior to his appointment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Mr Gibson trained nationally and internationally. He was an orthopaedic registrar in Oxford and completed an 18 month fellowship training in Auckland, New Zealand and Brisbane Australia.
